Where the directory comes from.

We use free or open sources with a clear purpose for each field. Raw bulk files and raw website HTML stay out of Cloudflare.

Registers

• Australian Business Register weekly bulk extract for ABN identity, names, status, state and postcode.
• NZBN bulk data after access approval and agreement review.

Addresses and discovery

The pilot uses the Australian Government postcode boundary service for postcode centroids, labelled as approximate rather than shop premises. G-NAF and LINZ remain the planned address sources for later verified geocoding. OpenStreetMap and Overpass help discover candidates, but they cannot overwrite a verified register or first-party fact.

What we do not collect

No personal names, residential addresses, guessed emails, revenue estimates, scraped contact lists or outreach CRM fields. Public contact links point directly to a shop.
